The capital of Ukraine took the honorable 12th place in the European ranking in terms of the number and number of international luxury retailers, as well as the corresponding 23rd place in the national ranking, taking into account the presence of operators representing premium and mid-price housing on the local market.In accordance with the study, it also turned out that the top three among European countries were such cities as London, Paris, followed by the capital of Russia with a slightly more significant lag.
Representatives of the organization draw attention to the fact that in Kyiv there is a small number of high-quality modern shopping centers, which does not contribute to a more significant penetration of the corresponding expensive goods into the market of the capital. Foreign retailers were inspired by Euro 2012 and began to open outlets more actively directly at the trade corridors of the capital region. It should be noted that such world-famous brands as Dolce recently debuted on the capital market & Gabbana, Valentino and even Prada. Despite this, the capital of Ukraine took only 23rd place in the ranking, although Kyiv remains highly popular for foreign brands.
