With a somewhat unusual in our times, but no less positive initiative, the authorities of the Kemerovo region. The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of this region announced that the arsenal of one of the most daring and cruel gangs of killers in the modern history of Russia will now serve society for peaceful purposes.
Weapons from which at least 15 people were killed were melted down in a blast furnace, one of the metallurgical plants in the region. It turned out to be quite solid pipes, a high-quality channel and a usable metal corner.
The gang, consisting of 24 people, received various terms of imprisonment. More precisely, 20 people received various terms of imprisonment. Four did not live to see the trial. Considering that about half of the criminal community were former policemen, the result is quite predictable. However, unlike the channel and the metal corner, the benefit to society and from those in prison is at least a debatable issue.
The further fate of the manufactured building materials is not known. It is unlikely that they went on sale in construction stores in Kuzbass. Perhaps now the corner and the channel are on the balance sheet of the supply manager of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which, no doubt, will be able to find a use for them.
Of course, it is unlikely that we are talking about such high-quality products as Parla parquet, but they can also be used in some way.
