Another construction scam was recorded in the village of Vishnevoe near Kyiv, more than 30 families ended up without money and their own housing. Deceived investors bought out an unfinished building during a special auction and are looking for an unscrupulous developer.
For an unfinished high-rise building, real battles for apartments unfolded. As a result, people moved to the barricades, who fully paid the cost of residential real estate and should have moved into apartments about 10 years ago, but the planned one was not destined to happen.
The house was eventually built on no more than three floors. And this situation arose due to the fact that the director of the developer company illegally appropriated all the funds that were invested by equity holders. As a result, this director was convicted, only more than 30 families ended up without their own money and without housing. In fact, people were made homeless. All the deceived investors are indignant.
In order not to finally say goodbye to the opportunity to get their own apartments, all investors were forced to unite directly into a cooperative, after which they purchased this object for a symbolic price. Now all the deceived equity holders intend to find the negligent developer by all available means. After that, they plan to find a new construction company that will be able to complete the construction of their problematic object. People are confident that they will be able to find and negotiate with a new construction company. It’s just that no one knows where an unknown company appeared from, which is now challenging the court decision and the results of the auction for which the unfinished building was sold, due to significant violations during its conduct.
