During the month of December of this year 2012, there has been a significant increase in the number of transactions in the real estate market, which are executed both by sellers and directly by buyers of real estate, correspondents of our resource report.
On the territory of the country, in almost all BTIs, one can observe long queues of those wishing to register the ownership of real estate objects before the actual New Year, as well as the entry into force of new rules for the execution of relevant transactions. In accordance with the new law, starting from 2013, the issue of real estate transactions will be dealt with by the State Registration Service, and not by the BTI, as it was before. If a few days ago a coupon for obtaining data from the state register could be obtained without problems in just one day, now this procedure takes at least three days. There is also reliable information that the State Register of Ownership will not be able to be transferred to the new system, therefore, the register will be completely new and clean, which increases the risk of fraud with transactions.
