Curtain length
First of all, it depends on the room. In the bedroom and living room, the curtains must reach the floor. The fabric must be bought with a small margin, in case of shrinkage (10-15 cm).
If this window is in the nursery, then the curtains can reach the windowsill. It will be safer for the child and due to this, dust will be collected less, and washing is much easier, they will not be able to interfere with the circulation of warm air from heating radiators – in winter. The same can be said about the curtains in the kitchen, especially when they are located close to the gas stove. Curtains that are assembled into a neat roll or Roman blinds are also suitable for this kind of windows.
