Stephen Garvin, one of the leading experts at the Scottish Research Center for Research, which deals with the building and environmental segment of the country, was able to independently imagine the real housing of the future. A distinctive feature of the new design solution presented by the scientist is that the building is supposed to be completely unsinkable, it is planned to equip protective barriers and a new system for rapid drainage around it.

Garvin, with input from flood risk firm Aquobex and a local architecture firm called Baca, was able to create a unique structural piece for new homes that can withstand rain and gusts of wind.
The progressive ideas of the scientist have already received approval and support from the British government, and their implementation in the practical plane will be presented in the form of a new pilot project for the construction of buildings in those areas of the country that have an increased risk of flooding. The first version of the unsinkable house is planned to be built in the line of the Watford Park. A large water canal will create a large water channel near the house, so that it could be as close as possible to reality conditions to test the degree of vulnerability of the new structure.
Dr. Garvin is of opinion that the high -quality device of the drainage system is an order of magnitude more relevant compared to the development of solutions for the subsequent elimination of natural disasters. The new house should be a new milestone in the development of the entire construction industry.
